Jean Johnson was the Coordinator of the Craft Studio from 1979 to 1991, when she became the Crafts Project Manager, a position she still holds. She has been celebrated by the Ontario Crafts Council, the Ontario College of Art and Design and NSCAD and was awarded the Order of Canada in 1993 for her work with the Canadian crafts community.
