Description
Every child learns to count from 1 to 10. But not every teaching method also doubles as a nonfiction introduction to the growth cycle of an animal! Young readers will count along from a single nest and two caring parents as three baby songbirds eat, open their eyes, test their toeholds, take time to grow flight feathers, and finally leave the nest together. About the authors
Jori van der Linde is a freelance Illustrator living and working in Vancouver, BC. She graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Illustration, and her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators New York, the Society of Illustrations Los Angeles, and Creative Quarterly.
