MAX ELLIOTT has lived and worked in the mountain parks of Western Canada for most of the past 30 years. Educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, Max has created drawings, paintings, mixed-media collages, prints, mosaics, ceramic pieces, and poetry reflecting her love of an ever-changing and inspirational mountain environment. Max’s recent exhibitions include the solo shows A is for Alpine and Glacier-fed, and the group show Elemental Inspiration: Out of the Wildfire, all at Banff’s Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. Her work can be found in public and private collections worldwide.
