Description

P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal>While drawing in the kitchen one day, Caillou notices Mommy kissing Daddy differently than the way she kisses Caillou. When Mommy says that it’s because she and Daddy are married, Caillou announces he’d like to marry Mommy. Sensing Caillou’s disappointment and confusion as Mommy explains that it's not possible, Daddy tells Caillou a tale of a young prince who’s in love with his mother. Prince Caillou lives in a big castle with his father, the King; his mother, the Queen; and a wise old dragon. The prince learns to do everything his father does, such as using a bow and arrow and riding a horse. When Prince Caillou decides he too would like to be married to the Queen, the wise dragon and the Queen tell him that just can't be. For Prince Caillou is the Queen’s little boy, and one day he will marry someone his own age. Caillou then cheerfully sets out to make friends with the neighboring Princess Eleanor. The Big Dipper Series is designed to help children weather the often tumultuous experiences that come with emotional development.
