Description
For centuries, children of all cultures have been fascinated by fairy tales. Why do these time-honored stories still hold so much interest?
The surreal adventures of fairy tales depict issues that concern children and help answer questions they may have. Exploring ambivalent feelings, rivalry, sexuality, death, or fear of the future, fairy tales offer a way to face these issues by appealing to the child’s imagination. This is why fairy tales are still as current today as they ever were.
