Description

Hailed as 'Canada's Queen of the Damned' (Ottawa Citizen), Nancy Kilpatrick brings us the fourth novel in the Power of the Blood Word series. With her signature sensual and addictive language, Bloodlover is a dark fantasy tale that has the critics and readers raving for more.

It's London, England, in the 1960s and anything goes. Julien has been around for almost five hundred years, and most of that time he's been alone. To Jeanette, in her shallow world, Julien is just another man to be manipulated. Two of the most popular characters in the vampire series "Power of the Blood" meet in this novel of passion and violence, intrigue and revenge.

About the author

Award-winning editor Nancy Kilpatrick has published 18 novels, over 190 short stories, five collections of stories and has edited eight anthologies. Much of her body of work involves vampires. Nancy writes dark fantasy, horror, mysteries and erotic horror, under her own name, her nom de plume Amarantha Knight, and her newest pen name, Desiree Knight (Amarantha's younger sister!) besides writing novels and short stories, and editing scripts, a stage play and a non fiction.

Editorial Reviews

“If you like your horror bloody and hair-raising, Reborn is definitely for you. This book is every bit as creepy and gory as her earlier tomes...”

“It’s a kind of perverse love story, and inevitably Kilpatrick’s going to be compared with Anne Rice...Child of the Night is a solid, well written piece of horror entertainment.”

The Dark Side

“Nancy Kilpatrick’s command of language is precise, sensual, and addictive...”
