BMX Tunnel Run
Another page-turning adventure in the Take it to the Xtreme Series. Fifteen year-old best friends Pete and Jake are spending the summer at Pete’s parents’ cabin. They meet three other local kids, Kasey, Micah and Russell, who are also BMX bike racers, but hold grudges against the “weekenders” as they call the people who own cabins and occasionally holiday at the lake. They all end up trapped together in an old mining shaft after discovering a maze of old mining tunnels. They have to rely on each other and race against time to find a way out as the mining company has hired locals to seal up the openings.Withers has written more than a dozen bestselling teen novels, most about extreme sports which take place in BC. She is also an editor and award nominee for business writing.
