Now trained in combat, Rex is ready to continue his quest and set out in search of his origins. But the trio are forced to accept the company of Cory, a formidable Ninjaptor with a mysterious past… They have to put their differences aside if they want to survive the terrible threats that await them.

Julien Paré-Sorel has always loved telling stories through drawings. As a young boy, he created his first characters and almost always set them in fantasy and science fiction worlds. After studying fine arts at CEGEP and comic book art at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, he started his career with a number of projects, including Léthéonie, the series Ètienne et Charlot, which appears in the magazine Les Débrouillards, and La ligne rouge. Between comic book festivals and speaking engagements in Québec and around the world, Julien has carefully detailed the complex universe of Adventurosaur, which brings together his two longstanding passions: medieval fantasy worlds and dinosaurs. The first volume in the series, Le réveil de Rex (Rex's Awakening in french), won him a Bédéis Causa, the Yvette Lapointe Award for best French-language youth comic book in Canada, and a Joe Shuster Award, the Dragon Award. Julien works in his studio in Montreal with his faithful assistant, Abu, the monkey dog. When he is not creating comic books, he likes to go biking, play video games, practice aikido and watch kaiju films.
