Description

Young Pinkin Rasbury is bundles off by her actress mother Rhoana to stay with her Grandmother Ruthy at the ancient Rasbury House in Garvee, California, while Rhoana is performing in a play in the city. As soon as she arrives, she meets two tennis players that apparently only she can see.

Years earlier, Pinkin's father and previously Pinkin's grandfather had been washed away by a tidal wave that broke over the cliffs of the family property; neither was ever found. And while Pinkin stays with Ruthy, strange things begin to happen, and Pinkin is caught up in a mystery of the past that involves ghosts, a time warp and a monster.

About the author

Jackson believes that, in the twine of life, there are two special genes unique to humankind—hope and humour—and he thinks we should all turn to the funny side of life in the face of adversity. He must have quite the sense of humour, then, since he’s been struck by lightning five times! Alan is a prolific writer of nonfiction and a creator of worlds in the fiction realm. Alan lives in Toronto with a wife named M and a squirrel called Mommy. He is the author of various Blue Bike titles, including Weird Canadian Weather, Weird Ontario Weather and Weird Ontario Laws.
