Description

This paper was completed by Mrs. Kay Woods in the summer of 1970. Mrs. Woods was the originator of the Painters Eleven concept for the Robert McLaughlin Gallery. She was appointed as Curator by the Board of Trustees which she accepted on a volunteer basis in order to bring the mass of data, works of art, and related material into a professional system of cataloguing. She developed an interest in following up the history of the members of the group and collected a great deal of data resulting in this essay.
