Librarian Reviews

A Field Guide to the Identification of Pebbles

This laminated leaflet provides photographs and basic information to identify common rocks and pebbles found in BC. It gives information on the three major types of rocks and explains how pebbles are formed from them. Useful as a first step, it will probably send young rock hounds looking for more in-depth material.

Laminated foldout format will be difficult to process and shelve in a library.
