A Bird-Finding Guide to Ontario has been the indispensable guide for Ontario birders since it was first published in 1982. He lists common breeding birds one can expect to encounter, and describes seasonal weather conditions and migration patterns and the most productive kinds of birding to be found. Clive Goodwin is a prominent and experienced birder who was Ontario regional editor of American Birds for 17 years. A former director of the Civic Garden Centre in Toronto, and author of A Bird Finding Guide in the Toronto Region, Mr Goodwin is a freelance naturalist living in Weston, Ontario, with his wife, Joy, who is also an active birder.
