Sharon Salzberg is a pioneer in the field of meditation, a world-renowned teacher, and New York Times bestselling author. She has played a pivotal role in bringing meditation and mindfulness into mainstream American culture since 1974. Sharon is cofounder of The Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA, and has authored 10 books, including the New York Times bestseller Real Happiness. Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. When he was 29, a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. A graduate of Yale and Yale Law School (where she was editor-in-chief of the Yale Law Journal), Rubin started her career as a lawyer, and she was clerking for Justice Sandra Day O’Connor when she realized she really wanted to be a writer. Raised in Kansas City, she lives in New York City with her husband and two young daughters.
