Description

Track events focus on speed, technique, and determination. They challenge athletes to move more quickly than ever before, but there is more to these events than just running. Whether it is a blistering sprint or a draining marathon, let Track Events in Action be a child's guide to preparing for life in the fast lane! Thorough text and full-color pictures help illustrate such highlights as: • the 100m and the key to a great start • how to handle hurdles • how to make your move and grab the lead • tips on training safely
