Tom n'a pas vraiment envie de participer à un camp de hockey sans ses amis mais dès qu'il monte sur la patinoire, il retrouve son sa bonne humeur. Son entraîneur est génial, les nouveaux exercices sont amusants et il se lie même d'amitié avec Harty, un autre joueur. Son nouvel ami éprouve des difficultés avec ses tirs au but. Content de pouvoir rendre service, Tom lui offre un précieux conseil. Et la vie continue… Cinq mois plus tard, les deux amis se retrouvent face à face lorsque leurs équipes s'affrontent à un important tournoi. Harty aura-t-il appris de son conseil?

 

Tom isn't looking forward to hockey camp because his friends aren't going with him. But soon he is enjoying the new coach and the hockey drills, and even making a new friend. At the end of the camp, Tom invites Harty to his house for more practice. The next day, when he spots a way to improve Harty's slapshot, Tom e-mails him with a suggestion.Five months later, the two boys are surprised to find themselves playing opposite each other in a hockey tournament.
