About the author

Born and raised in Ontario, Cathie Bartlett graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She was a news reporter at the London Free Press, Regina Leader-Post and Edmonton Journal for a total of 12 years, and a freelance writer in Edmonton for many years thereafter. She particularly enjoyed writing about her travels with her husband - whether it be jaunts in their RV across the prairies or trips to foreign lands. Bartlett has two children and two grandchildren and now lives with her husband in Camrose, where she is a member of the Battle River Writing Centre. Destination Prairie is her first novel.
